
Colson Baker, born April 22nd 1990, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter actor, songwriter, and actor. Before signing with Bad Boy Records, Machine Gun Kelly (born on 22 April on the 22nd of April in 1990) is popular for his hybrid style of alternative rock and hip hop. He released his debut album called Lace Up in 2012, and peaked at four on the US Billboard 200 and contained his breakout single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter featured the smash hit track "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018), featured rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. The album marked an unorthodox departure from hip-hop and a move into pop punk. The single "My Ex's best friend" reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. It was the first album by a rock artist to achieve that position. He achieved similar commercial success when he released the album's sequel Mainstream Sellout (2022).Machine Gun Kelly had his debut role as the lead actor in the romantic drama Beyond the Lights (2014) Then he appeared in the techno-thriller Nerve (2016) and the horror Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and played Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019)
