Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr., a tool and Die manufacturer who had previously been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone as well as her aunt relocated to New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. The two signed on with the Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. Her next move was to Europe which she was to spend a year within Milan, Paris and other cities. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling within Europe she decided to pursue acting while in the country.
